Andrew Grush / Android Authority

Welcome to the 505th edition of the weekly Android app. Once again, we bring you the latest news and programs from last week. Let’s start with some of the biggest headlines from last week:

  • Nothing can be a bit slow in launching Android 13 on 1 phone, but they have installed their game with Android 14. Nothing has been announced for the beta for Android 14 based on Nothing OS 2.5 will be launched soon for registered testers. For it.
  • Google has announced the integration of AI image creation directly into Google Search. You can request it to create an image for you quickly, but the catch is that you have opted in to the Google Search Generative Experience (SGE).
  • Earlier this month, Google announced Bard’s introduction to Google Assistant, starting with a limited trial. Deepening the code now suggests that Tensor-powered Pixels powered by the Galaxy S24 will be the first devices to be accessible.
  • Google recently updated its software update policy, giving new Pixel owners seven years of operating system updates and patches. According to Samsung CEO Shin-Chul Baik, the company is actively discussing improving its five-year software policy to better align with Google. The company did not specify what the new policy might be or the length of support they could offer, but it is possible that we could see the promise of a new update in time for the Galaxy S24.
  • Google has announced that its Passkeys will now be the default security option for Google services, and it is even partnering with a number of others, such as Uber, eBay and WhatsApp. Passkey combines your fingerprint, face unlock, or other local security method with a second lock stored online. This method is safer and harder to hack.

Android Apps of the Week: Best New Apps and Games of the Week

Looking for some new Android apps and games to keep you hooked? Below we take a look at some of our favorite tips for this week. This week we have three games and two program proposals.

Thrones of the Three Kingdoms

  • Price: Free with in-app purchases
  • Release Date: October 11

When downloading, you can choose between male or female characters and one of the three factions, Shu, Wei and Wu. The game has a sound that is not too shocking, although its storyline is basic. However, if you enjoy a kingdom management game that requires you to build buildings and armies to defend your faction, you will find this game fascinating. It should be noted that the English translation may be a bit awkward, but it is quite understandable.

Three-story quest

  • Price: Free with in-app purchases
  • Release Date: October 10

If you are looking for a casual game to go through while waiting in line or during breaks, then Tile Match Quest may be a good choice. It is a straight tile matching game where your goal is to find three matching cells to clear groups of items. The game becomes more and more challenging as you reach the level. While I do not encounter ads immediately, it is important to note that advertising can become annoying when you reach a high level. Looking for another game like this? Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

  • Price:Free with in-app purchases
  • Release Date: October 12

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan is an Android turn-based RPG RPG of the same name. In my short time with it, I found repetitive action, but appreciated the side quests and story elements. There are a lot of small transactions and more, though it may seem playable enough, even if you do not want to pay a bit. Overall I like this one but Ive never watched anime so it might be more appealing to existing fans.

Ambassador Cruise Line

  • Price: Free
  • Release Date: October 13
Cruises (1)

Looking to get the most out of your upcoming tour with Ambassador? The program has two purposes. First, it helps you to pre-register for the cruise and see the details for the upcoming tour. Once on board, the app provides an easy way to check out activities with navigation, menu options, and more.

New York Rangers Official Program

  • Price: Free
  • Release Date: October 10
Program Guard (1)

Every request for this week’s program is very special. This special program is designed with Ranger fans in mind. You will find highlights, exclusive content groups, and the ability to access and manage mail directly from the app. As someone who has played Rangers once in his life, this is not for me. But if you like ice hockey and especially this team, this is a must have app.
